Rosalie Slowik

Rosalie Frances Slowik passed away peacefully at home with her family on Sunday, June 7, 2020.

Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Elizabeth (Ignatz) Fanty, her loving husband Stanley Slowik, her beloved son Lee Hoffman and brother Robert Fanty.

Rosalie is survived by her loving family, James (Vicki) Hoffman, Nina (Steve) Marone and Stepchildren, Cheryl (Jim)Houser, Debi Slowik, Fred (Kathy) Slowik and Kathleen (Gary) Schemm. Grandchildren Jenny Leschak, Steven Marone, Jeremy Hoffman, Tricia Hoffman, Diana (Matt) Koenig, Christine (Matt) Steiner, Stephani, Christopher Thomas and the late Elisha and James Hoffman and Stepgrandchildren Chase and Haley. Great- grandchildren Ciarra Brunson, Peyton Beharry, Ava Davis, James Hoffman, Abbey, Austin, and Lilly Steiner and the late Julian Hoffman. Rosalie is also survived by her sister Dolores Maccarone, nieces, cousins, friends and bingo buddies.

Rosalie loved animals because of her nurturing spirit she once cared for two baby robins until they could survive on their own. You could find her out back feeding the birds, deer, groundhogs, raccoons and whatever other critters came along. Her most precious possessions were her cats Rambo, Mama Kitty, Angel, Smokey, Darla, Tink, and Precious. Rosalie had a kind heart and will be missed by all of those that she touched. May you soar high mom and reunite with your loved ones in Heaven.

Friends will be received Wednesday, June 10, 2020 from 2 – 4 PM and 6 – 8PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc. 3511 Main Street, Munhall PA 15120 ( 412-461-6394 ) where a Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 PM with Rev. David Shively officiating.
