Rose M. Murdock

Rose M. Murdock passed away peacefully on Friday, May 5, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.  Rose was born in McKeesport the daughter of the late Nicholas and Anna (Nester) Colon.  She was the beloved wife of Robert G. Murdock.  Cherished mother of Debra (Thomas) Jenkins, Donna (John) Hudak, Shawn Murdock and Tanya (Cory) Altman.  Loving grandmother of Heather (Norm) Schmidt, Tom "T.J." (Tabitha) Jenkins, Ashley (James) Birckhead, Marissa (fiance J.P.) Jenkins, Jonathon Hudak, Shawn C. Murdock, Kristie Murdock, Robert "R.J." (Mylisa) Ehnerd, Austin Graff-Murdock, Alison Graff-Murdock, and Brea, Brenna and Braelyn Altman.  Special great-grandmother to 11 great grandchildren.  Sister of Maryann Beck, Carol Hayden and Nicholas Colon, Jr.  Also many nieces and nephews.  Rose was a graduate of the Pittsburgh Barber School.  She had a passion for shopping, liked to fish, was a talented artist with a keen eye for fashion and beauty, but most of all liked to spend time with her family.  Family and friends received on Tuesday May 9, 2023 from 1 - 4 PM & 6 - 9 PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street, Munhall 15120 (412-461-6394) where a Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 10 AM.  Please share your memories and condolences a georgeigreenfuneralhome.com
