Roy K. Ruggieri

Roy Ruggieri was the loving husband of Theresa, father of Mandi & Angie, pappy of Jordan, Graycie, & Liam, brother of Jim (Barbara), Eddie (Darlene), Clarence (the late Judy), and a friend to all. Roy passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at 72 years old. He had a long tough illness he battled, which he handled with courage and pride. When asked what kept him going, his number one response was "I fight for my family." Despite the pain and many hospital visits, Roy continued to hold onto a smile, joke, sing, and dance his way through a very difficult time. He is a hero, a fighter, and stayed strong until the end.

Roy entered the world August 5, 1952, a fighter! The doctors pronounced him dead at birth, but he was later found under the sheet moving & despite many health conditions growing up as a child, he grew into a tall and strong man, who enjoyed lifting, football, boxing, and an occasional Coors light. He served 4 years in the US Navy; he was a proud veteran with many stories to share. Roy met his forever love Theresa, they married May 19, 1978, and were married 46 loving years. Where there is great love, there is great loss, and Roy will be missed tremendously by all those who loved him.
