Rudolph Slobodnik

Rudolph J. “Rudy” Slobodnik 68 of West Mifflin on February 26, 2016. Loving husband of Peggy (Nichol) Slobodnik, beloved father of Michael (Erica) of West Mifflin and Kimberly (John) Holko of West Mifflin, brother of Joyce (Rob) Schell of Valencia, Martin (Debbie) Slobodnik of Hermanie and the late Joann Sitzmann, cherished Pap-Pap of Hunter, Apollo”Rudy”, John and Victoria, also nieces and nephews. Rudy was a faithful member of St. Agnes R.C. Church in West Mifflin, a U.S. Army Signal Core veteran, he worked for U.S. Steel Edgar Thompson works and National Tube,a supervisor for Washington Steel and Union Electric Steel. He was a Eagle Scout and Scoutmaster for Troop 333 in West Mifflin from 1982-1989. Member of The Iris and Daylilie Society, Garden Club of Munhall and American Legion Post 380, he was also a very avid gardener. Friends received on Sunday 7-9 and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc. 3511 main St. Munhall 412-461-6394. Mass of Christian Burial will be in Holy Trinity R.C. Church on Tuesday at 10:00A.M.
