Ruth E. Watson

Ruth E. (Ulm) Watson, age 102, went home to be with our lord on Thursday, June 23, 2023. Ruth was born to late parents John H. and Edna (Lamb) Ulm in McKeesport on August 15, 1920. Ruth is predeceased by her husband George B. Watson and beloved grandson, Jeffery. She leaves behind her son Robert B. (Nancy) Watson of Youngstown, Ohio, and her daughter, Sheryl A. (John) Rynn of Southington, Connecticut. Ruth also leaves two grandchildren, Kevin and Lisa, who will miss her dearly. Ruth was a longtime bank teller for Mellon Bank and a devoted parishioner of Homestead Park United Methodist Church. She was also a fixture at her nursing home, Austin Woods Nursing Home, in Youngstown, Ohio. Ruth will be missed by all whom knew and made memories with her throughout her long and fulfilling life.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday, June 29, 10 AM- 11 AM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street, Munhall 15120, ((412)461-6394), where a funeral service will be held at 11 AM with Pastor Don Kephart officiating.
