Sharon Mays

On March 26, 2015 age 67,

Sharon Ann was born in Pittsburgh.  Daughter of the late Charles "Barney" and Elsye Jane Peoples.  Beloved mother of Rodger
"Rocky" (Danielle) Mays.  Treasured Nana of Jamison Mays.

Precious sister of Linda Jane (Tom)  Kocan and Gigi (Terry) Kelly.

Best Aunt in the whole world to Kirk Kocan, Trisha Cherok, Megan, Hannah and Maura Kelly.

Greatest great aunt to Mia, Ava Capezzuto, Nina and Jarrett Cherok Anthony and Zack Kocan

Sharon was a 1969 graduate of South Side School of Nursing.  She worked at Shadyside, V.A. and Magee Womens at delivering many babies and in the OR.  Her career spanned 24 years.

She loved sports- of any kind.  Loved her family beyond all measure and gave of herself to all.  She will be missed by many .

In lieu of flowers- donations can be made to the Lupus foundation in her memory.

Friends received on Sunday April 19 from 1-2 P.M. at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home Inc. 3511 Main St. Munhall 412-461-6394 where a Memorial Service will follow at 2 P.M.
