Sister Gloria Wilkins

Sister Gloria Marie Wilkins went to be with the Lord on Monday October 26, 2020, age 84, of Jefferson Hills, PA formerly of Columbus, Ohio. Born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, a daughter of the late Orise (Remillard) and Charles Philip Wilkins.

On August 15, 1976 she became a member of Sisters for Christian Community, she then continued her work in the ministry for many years. When she came to Pittsburgh, PA she made many friends at St. Therese Towers and became a member of Homeville Christian Church where she continued her mission work at Vacation Bible School and will be remembered for putting together the puppets and activities for the children. Sister Gloria had a kind heart, always willing to help others and was loyal to her calling of ministry. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and poodle, Precious.

Funeral Arrangements are private and entrusted to George I. Green Funeral Home, Inc. 3511 Main Street, Munhall 15120 ( 412-461-6394 ). A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at 12:00 PM at Homeville Christian Church Eliza Street West Mifflin with Rev. David Shively officiating.
