Stephen Hornyak, age 97, passed away on November 24, 2022.
Stephen was born in Munhall, PA; a son of the late Steve Hornyak and Elizabeth (Siska).
Beloved husband of Margaret (Torok) Hornyak for 54 years; Loving father of Stephen Hornyak and Linda (Hani) Azhari; Cherished grandfather of Emily and Sarah Azhari.
Stephen proudly served our country in the US Army. He worked for US Steel until he retired in 1996 after 45 years. He was a longtime member of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish. Friends and family will be received on Saturday, November 26, 2022 from 9:00 AM until the time we leave for church at 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM in St. Therese Church, St. Thomas the Apostle Parish. Interment will follow at St. Elias Cemetery.
