Stephen Novacek, III

Stephen Gerard Novacek III, passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021, age 76, of West Mifflin, PA and Clearwater, FL. Born in Pittsburgh; the son of the late Margaret (Gretz) and Stephen Gerard Novacek, Jr. Beloved husband of Linda (Brunner) Novacek; Loving father of Stephen G. Novacek, IV (Lisa), Richard Novacek (Lori), Deana Read (Doug) and Daniel Novacek; Cherished grandfather of Austin, Jordyn, Abby Read, Luke and Max Novacek, Kaylee and Emilee Novacek; Dear brother of Rita Chergi (Jack), Kathleen Howden (late Walter), and the late Marleen O’Toole (Larry); also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Stephen proudly served our country in the US Air Force. He worked as a draftsman until his retirement. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Steve was a selfless and loving husband and father who loved life and was always there to help anytime anyone needed him.  He was always so cheerful and loved by everyone.

Friends and Family will be received on Friday, September 3, 2021 from 2 PM to 4 PM & 7 PM to 9 PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, 3511 Main Street, Munhall PA 15120 (412.461.6394), where a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 10:00 AM with Pastor William Galus officiating. Internment and military honors will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a future date.
