Tegwen J. Wolowski, born on October 26, 1929, in Fayette City, Pennsylvania, passed away on January 2, 2026, in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania. Tegwen lived a life filled with love, community, and cherished family moments, and her memory will be warmly remembered by all who knew her.

A proud graduate of Brentwood High School, Tegwen embraced every opportunity to serve and uplift those around her. She was particularly active in her church, Homeville Christian Church, where her dedication to the Sunday School Program showcased her passion for nurturing the spiritual growth of children. Tegwen found joy in crocheting, a hobby that undoubtedly brought warmth not only to her home but also to the lives of her family and friends.

Above all, Tegwen was a devoted family member, always ensuring that precious time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was filled with fun and meaningful activities. Her nurturing spirit and warmth will be forever etched in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Tegwen leaves behind her beloved daughter Wanda (Gregory) Meiers and her son Donald Wolowski. She cherished her role as a grandmother to Aaron (Samantha) Meiers, Kristine Wolowski, Michelle Stumpf, Kelli Kuzma, and Scott (Natalie) Meiers. Her legacy extends further through her great-grandchildren: Ryan, Chelsea, Calise, Lonna, Piper, and Ryker.

She is reunited in eternal rest with her husband John A. Wolowski and her parents, Rev. William and Thelma (Sturgis) Barber. She is also preceded in death by her son Daniel (Roberta) Wolowski.

Visitation with family will take place at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home in Munhall, Pennsylvania, on January 6, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on January 7, 2026, at Homeville Christian Church in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, beginning at 11:00 AM.

Tegwen J. Wolowski will be deeply missed, but her spirit lives on in the cherished memories and the love she shared with her family and community.
