Theresa Ann Sturm

Theresa Ann Sturm (Dorney), age 92, of Lincoln Place passed away peacefully on April 10, 2022.

She was born in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Agnes (Walsh) and Thomas Dorney. Beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Sturm. Loving mother of Nicholas J. (Diane) Sturm of Mercersburg, PA, Janet (Herman) Schipma of Huntley, IL, and Mary Anne (Paul) Bendzsuk of Lincoln Place, PA; Cherished grandmother of Theresa (Mike) Bykowski, Herman Schipma III, Thomas (Julianne) Bendzsuk, Sarah (Chris) Armstrong and Joseph (Marquitta) Sturm; and great-grandmother to Matthew, Madison, Herman IV "PJ", Lorenzo and Penny.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her siblings, Agnes Weiland, Thomas Dorney and James Dorney.

Theresa was longtime member of Holy Angels Church where she was a member of the Christian Mothers. She was an avid reader and loved to do plastic canvas crafts until she could no longer. She was a kind woman and so proud of her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Friends will be received Tuesday, April 12, 2022 from 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street, Munhall PA 15120. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 10:30 AM in Blessed Trinity Parish, Holy Angels Church in Hays.

The family suggests that memorial contributions to be made to The Community of Holy Family Manor, 301 Nazareth Way, Pittsburgh, PA 15229 in memory of Theresa.
