Valerie Mae Danner

Valerie Mae Danner, a beloved member of her community, passed away peacefully at the age of 71 on July 6, 2026, in her lifelong hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Born on March 16, 1955, Valerie was known for her unwavering spirit, her warmth, and her nurturing presence. Valerie dedicated her life to her family and her work as a skilled hairdresser. With a natural talent for making others look and feel their best. Her gentle touch and attentive ear extended beyond the salon, as she filled her home with laughter and love.

An avid bingo player, Valerie cherished her time spent with friends at the local bingo hall. She found joy in knitting, creating treasured gifts for her loved ones, as each stitch represented her deep affection. A devoted cat lover, she often found comfort in the company of her furry friends. Each day, she welcomed the morning with a steaming cup of coffee, finding solace in her favorite television shows, "Let’s Make a Deal" and "The Price is Right", which were as much a part of her routine as her love for family.

Valerie will be deeply missed by her devoted husband, Edward Danner Jr., and her sister, Sandra Locklear; nieces, Nicole & Bridget; and great friends, Joyce & Mary Jo. Valerie was preceded in death by parent William Trout & Jennifer Trout and her brother, Rodney Trout. Her legacy of love, kindness, and laughter will be carried on by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
