Verna M. Gajdos (Hritz)

Verna M. Gajdos of Munhall, passed away on November 25, 2022 at the age of 93.  She was born in Homestead; the daughter of the late Andrew and Verona (Bencze) Hritz.  Verna was the beloved wife of the late Steve "PIP" Gajdos.  She was the loving mother of Geri Mizak, Steve (Mary) Gajdos Jr., Jan Harbodin, Ken (Cathy) Gajdos, and Ron "Sunshine" Gajdos.  Cherished grandmother of 13 grandchildren and special great-grandmother of 35 great-grandchildren.  Sister of Flo (Joe) Yackovich and the late Mary Pavlik.  Verna was a longtime member of St. Rita Church in Munhall and had a passion for bowling, cooking, baking, crocheting but most of all she loved spending time with her family.  Family and friends received on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 2 PM - 8 PM at the the George Irivn Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main St., Munhall, 15120 (412-461-6394).
