Vilma Sawl

Vilma R. (Sabo) Sawl 83 of West Homestead, passed peacefully Saturday, March 19, 2016 in her home with her loving family by her side. She was born February 8, 1933 in Pittsburgh to the late Laszlo Szabo and Elizabeth (Petro) (Joseph) Telyusko. Vilma loved her family, dancing, bowling and traveling the world with her devoted husband of 63 years. A lifelong active member of the First Hungarian Reformed Church of Pittsburgh. Beloved wife of Joe, loving mother of James (Mary) and Gregg (Judy), cherished grandmother of Dan (Jenna) and Anne, Sister of Julia (Bert) Olah and the late Betty (Michael) Rasky, also many nieces and nephews. Friends received on Tuesday from 2 -8 P.M. at George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc. 3511 Main Street. Munhall, 412-461-6394 Funeral service will be Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. in First Hungarian Reformed Church of Pittsburgh, 221 Johnston Ave Pittsburgh. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to First Hungarian Reformed Church of Pittsburgh.
