William H. Baxter, Jr.

Suddenly on August 8, 2024 At the age of 79, William H. Baxter, Jr of Lincoln Place, formally of Hays. Son of the Late William and Edna (Kemmer) Baxter. He was the Loving Father of William Ill of Lincoln Place and Christopher of West Mifflin. Pap Pap to Avery J. Baxter of Squirell Hill. Companion of 25 years to the late Karen Jacky of Clairton. Best friend of Donna McCallum, Carol Sigafoos and Phyllis Spicuzza. Bill was a Life Long, Dedicated Employee at Peter J Caruso & Sons, Inc in Hays. He served in the US Army in Germany from 1966-1968, followed by serving in the Reserves, for a few years. He was awarded a Good Conduct Medal, Expert (Rifle) and National Defense Service Medal. He loved watching the Steelers play, Nascar Racing and just about every other sport, there was to watch Bill will surely be missed by his Family and his many Friends and Neighbors.

Family and friends will be recieved Tuesday, August 13, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street, Munhall 15120, (412)461-6394; where a Blessing Service will take place the following morning, Wednesday, August 14, at 10 AM with Seminarian Xavier Engle officiating.
