William Ferson

William Boyd Ferson passed away on Monday August 16, 2021, age 98 years of Munhall, formerly of Greenfield. He was born in Pittsburgh; a son of the late David A. and Mary (Harron) Ferson.  Beloved father of Harry (Laura Susan) Ferson, Daniel (Diana) Ferson, William Ferson, and Michael Ferson. Cherished grandfather of Daniel, James (Barbara), Joseph (Kailyn) and Jamie Ferson; Loving great-grandfather of TJ Hurley, Ally Ferson, Abby Ferson, Tomilyn Ferson, Maddie Ferson and Joseph Ferson Jr.; Dear friend of Rose Nesky; also survived by cousin James Irwin and many other cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Annabelle Labishak, Ruth Hooker, Russel M. (Lynn survives) Ferson, James Ferson and David Ferson.

Bill proudly served our county in the US Army. He was a former member of the Owls Club and an avid Pirates and Steelers fan.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc. 3511 Main Street Munhall where a Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Interment and Military Honors will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park.
