William Galvin 91 of Pleasant Hills, formerly of Lincoln Place and West Mifflin, on August 24, 2017. Beloved husband of Patricia (Rugh), loving father of Eileen M. (Jeff) Joll of West Homestead, William (Connie) Galvin Jr. of Washington, Fr. Thomas J. Galvin of McKeesport, Robert J. (Diane) Galvin of Whitaker, James R. (Chris) Galvin of West Mifflin and Matthew O. Galvin of Baldwin, brother of the late Kathleen Lynn, Lucille Snyder, Mary Jane Galvin, Grayce McCuster, Margaret Sarraino, Joseph and Richard Galvin, Cherished grandfather of Shawn (Karen), Amy (Joe), Justin, Erich, Bryan (Melissa), Kim (Jon), Jason (Selena), Joshua, Jacque, Jodi, Jennifer and Jessica. William was a retired draftsman for General Motors, a U S Navy WWII veteran, member of Knights of Columbus Council 4210 where he was Past Grand Knight, and a 4th degree Knight with Post 940 in McKeesport, South Park Mens 60 and over golf league, American Legion Post 935, TRAA 3172 AARPs, and a long- time volunteer for The Intersection Inc. in McKeesport. Friends received on Monday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 P.M. at George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc.  3511 Main St. Munhall 412-461-6394 Mass of Christian Burial will be in St. Thomas A’Beckett R.C. Church in Jefferson Hills on Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. Burial with full Military Honors will be in The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
