William H Halliday (Bill), was 89, of Munhall.
Born October 16, 1936, Died March 27, 2026.
A life long member of Homestead United Presbyterian Church. He joined the church as a teenager. He was a very faithful Christian who spread the love of Jesus everywhere he went.
An Air Force Veteran, he served with pride He was an airplane mechanic. He served in Greenland.
A Port Authority Bus Driver for 28 years. He drove the Steel Valley bus tripper run for many years.
He loved riding motorcycles and going up to camp. On any nice summer day, you could bet he was enjoying one or the other.
Always a hard worker, he worked on cars for many years, cut grass, shoveled snow, and was always found holding the door open for someone. He always knew how to fix something. And if he didn’t know, he found a way.
He always put family first. Many memorable vacations, and just family time.
He is predeceased by his parents, Hugh David Halliday and Nellie Ruth Graham Halliday Ferree (Elmer). Also siblings, Laura Ruthie Halliday Fleming McAlister (Paul, Chuck), Joseph Halliday (Ruth), Helen Halliday Fitzhenry (Bill), and Virginia Halliday Fleming Inglis (Harry, Alex) And bonus grandson, Nieko Prosdocimo.
He is survived by his loving ex-wife, Sandra Pastorius Halliday Haun. And children Kimberly Halliday (Pernell Walker), Suzanne Halliday, David Halliday (Jennifer), and bonus daughter Angela Haun.
Grandchildren Melissa Halliday, Michael Halliday (Kennywood Mike), Crystal Halliday, David Halliday Jr, Emily Halliday, Daisy Halliday, Lilly Halliday, and bonus grandson, Stephan (Sara) Haun.
Great Grandchildren Janae Biram, Joseph III, Jasmine, Jack, and Jay Sims, and bonus great granddaughters, Kyla, Savannah, Cecilia, and Maria Haun, and Gianna Prosdocimo.
Many nieces and nephews.
A faithful customer of Eat n Park, Falce’s/Fox’s, McDonald’s and Rene’s. He was always enjoying a cup of coffee wherever he went. He loved spending time with his friends
