William Kovacs

On December 12, 2019, peacefully with his family by his side, age 90 of Munhall, formerly of Hazelwood.  William was born in Smock, PA; the son of the late Andrew and Mary E. (Liptak) Kovacs.  Beloved father of Charmaine Kovacs, Patrick A. (Susan J. Luce) Kovacs and the late William T. Kovacs.  Brother of the late Mary (Tillian), Andrew and Joseph Kovacs.  Uncle too many nieces and nephews.  William was a dedicated member of the First Hungarian Reformed Church of Hazelwood, a Korean War Veteran, a member of the Boilermakers Local 154 and a Railroader for the P & LE and B & O Railroads for 47 years.  Family and friends received on Monday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main St., Munhall, 15120 (412-461-6394) where a service will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 PM with Rev. Ilona Komjathy officiating.
