William M. Mesko, Jr

William M. Mesko, Jr., affectionately known as Bill, passed away on February 16, 2026, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, at the age of 38. Born on June 8, 1987, in Pittsburgh, Bill was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend who filled the lives of those around him with laughter and warmth.

Bill graduated from Steel Valley High School and went on to work as a laborer for Matthews International Corporation in Pittsburgh, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. He approached life with a great sense of humor and a genuine love for making people laugh, bringing joy to everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Throughout his life, Bill had many passions. He had a talent for cooking and baking, delighted in indulging his sweet tooth, and loved to work on cars. His adventurous spirit led him to travel, and he devoted time to his fitness routine, always seeking to better himself. Bill cherished spending time with his three adored dogs, Auggie, Asher, and Ace, who faithfully kept him company. Bill cherished spending quality time with Chelsea.

Family was profoundly important to Bill. He was always there for anyone in need, providing support and encouragement. He relished the moments spent with his nieces, Thea, Abigail, Sofia, Juliona, and nephews Bane, Colton, and Connor, who brought him much joy and pride.

Bill is survived by his loving parents, David and Alice (Scott) McLaughlin; his brother, John (Nicki) Mesko; his sister, Sara (Jeremy Stetson) Mesko; and his fiancée, Chelsea Kerr.  Chelsea was the love of Bill's life.  He cherished every laugh, every trip, and every quiet moment with her, as as he would always say, "he loved her more than anything in this world". He is also remembered by his extended family, including uncles, aunts, cousins, and many friends who deeply miss him.

The visitation services for Bill will be held on February 21, 2026, at George Irvin Green Funeral Home in Munhall, Pennsylvania. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. A funeral service will follow on the same day, commencing at 7:30 PM.

William M. Mesko, Jr.'s vibrant spirit, kind heart, and humorous demeanor will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering support that will be cherished by all.
