Dorothy Gillette

Dorothy Mae (James) Gillette passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021, age 94, of Bethel Park, formerly of Lincoln Place. She was born in Homestead; the daughter of the late Catherine (Phifer) and John D. James. Beloved wife of the late Martin K. Gillette; loving mother of Deborah Navilliat, former son-in-law Robert Navilliat and the late Karen (James) Balog; cherished grandmother of Steven Navilliat, Chantillie Navilliat, Brandon Navilliat and the late Thomas K. Navilliat; loving step-grandmother of Sara Balog and David Balog; great-grandmother of Brandon Navilliat and three step-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Dorothy made many trips with her family to Lancaster, where they enjoyed shopping and dining. She was an avid bingo and card player. She was a fantastic baker, her family especially enjoyed her pies. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 from 2-4 PM & 6-9 PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, 3511 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120 (412.461.6394), where a Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 10:00 AM.
