Louis Ruffing

Peacefully on June 8, 2020, age 81, with his loving wife Bernice (Olenak) of 57 years by his side.  Lutz was born in West Mifflin, the son of the late Joseph and Loretta (Rausch) Ruffing.  He was a member of Resurrection Church, he received an associate degree fro Robert Morris College in business, a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving from 1961 - 1963, a Life Member of the Homeville Volunteer Fire Dept., and a retired clerk for U.S. Steel South Side Works.  Beloved father of Joseph (Amy), Kenneth W. and Thomas (Christine) Ruffing.  Loving grandfather of Joe, Katy, Mandy, Nicholas, Alec, Zachary and Carson.  Brother of Celine (Warren) Kreauter and Joseph (Joanne) Ruffing.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Lutz enjoyed hunting and spending time out doors with family and friends.

It was Lutz’s wishes that visitation be private.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday at 10:00 AM in Resurrection Church in West Mifflin.  Arrangements entrusted to the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main Street, Munhall, 15120.  ( 412-461-6394 ).

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Lutz’s name to the Homeville Volunteer Fire Department, 3900 Greensprings Avenue, West Mifflin, PA 15122
