William Lloyd Keller (Bill, aka, Wounded Knee), of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, claimed his heavenly reward on Saturday, January 23, 2021, after 93 years of service on earth.  A devout Elder of his church, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Bill provided a strong and loving foundation for his family.

Born to Lloyd and Marie (Bonser) Keller Simpson in 1927, Bill was the oldest of 6 children.  He was proceeded in death by his parents, his sister, Dolores/Honey Lewandosky, his brother, Dave (Connie) Keller, and his brother Ken (Irene) Keller.  He is survived by his siblings Bob (Carol) Keller and Mary Lou (Pinky) Fawcett.

As a young man, Bill proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

When he returned from service, he married his soulmate, Marian.  For 43 years, until she went to her heavenly home, they built a beautiful life together.  They had three children, Darlene (Bob) Fenwick, Debbie (Ray) Yanowich, and Bill (Barb) Keller. Six grandchildren, Bob (Crystal) Fenwick, Tammy (Greg) Bowden, Steve (Lisa) Fenwick, BethAnn (John) Susan, Nikki (John) Opfar, and Tony Keller.  Bill was a proud great-Pap to Ethan, Aaron, Anneliese, J.R., AJ, Brady, Lorelei, Chase and Malachi.  Family was extremely important to Bill as he was to us.

After the passing of Marian, Bill was able to find a loving companion and wife, Ethel Allison.  Ethel’s children and grandchildren also became an important part of his world.  Ethel proceeded Bill in death in 2020.

Bill was a talented artist and that remained a favorite hobby throughout his entire life. He had a love of Native American history and culture. Bill was also an avid hunter and fisherman.

Family and friends received on Wednesday from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8PM at the George Irvin Green Funeral Home, Inc., 3511 Main St. Munhall 15120 (412-461-6394) where a service will be held on Thursday 11:00AM.  Burial with Military Honors to follow at Homestead Cemetery.
